First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of two immunotherapy drugs, nivolumab and low-dose ipilimumab, can help prevent melanoma from returning after surgical removal. The trial enrolled 22 adults with high-risk stage III or resected stage IV melanoma. Participants received the drugs for six months, and researchers monitored side effects and how long patients remained cancer-free.
