This study looks at how nitrogen narcosis—a condition that can cause euphoria and poor coordination when diving deep—affects divers who have previously had an inner ear decompression illness. Researchers will compare two groups: healthy divers and those with past inner ear injury. Participants will perform tasks like peg tests and balance exercises inside a pressure chamber at simulated depths. The goal is to see if past injury makes divers more prone to dizziness or disorientation, helping to guide safer return-to-diving advice.
