First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study reviewed medical records of 75 women who had a nipple-sparing mastectomy to prevent breast cancer. Researchers looked at how often complications happened within 42 days after surgery. The goal was to see how safe the procedure is and how well it removes breast tissue while saving the nipple.
