Rare skin disease mystery: could immune cells explain lymphoma risk?

NCT ID NCT07477769

First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at the immune cells in the blood of 10 adults with a rare genetic skin condition called NIPAL4 ichthyosis. Researchers want to see if these cells are different from normal, because three people with this skin disease also developed a rare lymphoma. The goal is to gather information, not to test a treatment.
