First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a single injection of a drug called NIO752 in 38 adults aged 30-74 with early Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's. The main goal is to see if the drug can lower levels of tau protein in the spinal fluid, which is linked to Alzheimer's damage. Researchers also monitor safety and side effects. This is an early-phase trial, so it focuses on biological changes and safety, not yet on symptom improvement.
