Researchers probe troubling side effect of common lung drug

Summary
This study aims to understand why some Caucasian patients with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) experience diarrhea while taking the drug nintedanib. Researchers will look back at the medical records of 100 patients to identify which personal or health factors might increase this risk. They will also evaluate whether reducing the drug dose is an effective way to manage the diarrhea while maintaining treatment.
