Summary

This small pilot study will test whether nimodipine, a drug typically used for blood pressure, can reduce alcohol drinking in 5 adults with Alcohol Use Disorder. Participants will stay overnight at a hospital, receive nimodipine, and then have the option to drink alcohol or receive money instead. The goal is to see if the drug lowers the number of drinks consumed and reduces cravings.
