Summary

This study follows 50 pregnant women with Chagas disease who have taken or will take nifurtimox during pregnancy. Researchers will track birth defects, pregnancy outcomes, and infant health up to 12 months old. The goal is to collect safety data, not to test a new treatment. Results will be compared to the general population.
