Can we make vaping less addictive? scientists test cutting the nicotine
NCT ID NCT05205382
Summary
This study aimed to see if reducing the amount of nicotine in e-cigarettes (vapes) makes them less addictive and exposes users to fewer harmful chemicals. Researchers recruited 116 young adult e-cigarette users to test different nicotine levels in a lab setting. The goal was to gather evidence to help regulators decide if lowering nicotine is a good strategy to protect public health.
