Can cutting nicotine in vapes break the addiction?

NCT ID NCT05205382

Summary

This study investigated whether reducing the amount of nicotine in electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or vapes) could make them less addictive, especially for young adults. Researchers recruited 116 e-cigarette users aged 21-35 to test their reactions to e-cigarettes with full, reduced, or zero nicotine. The goal was to gather evidence to help regulators decide if limiting nicotine could be an effective strategy to curb vaping addiction.
