NCT ID NCT04058743
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether people with nickel allergies have better results from knee replacement surgery if they get nickel-free implants instead of standard ones. Researchers planned to compare pain and function scores between the two groups. The study was stopped early and only included 9 participants, so it cannot provide clear answers.
