Summary
This study looks at why fat cells in the belly area don't respond normally to signals that tell them to stop releasing fat. Researchers will give niacin (vitamin B3) to 32 overweight adults and measure how different fat deposits react. The goal is to better understand the biology behind weight gain patterns, not to test a treatment.
