This study tested four different methods of weighing newborns—routine care, holding, swaddling, and swaddling plus holding—to see which one keeps babies most comfortable and their heart rate and oxygen levels most stable. Researchers observed 96 healthy newborns during and after weighing. The goal was to find the gentlest approach for routine checkups.
