Summary
This study tested a new oral drug, GSK3882347, for treating uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women. It compared the new drug to the standard antibiotic nitrofurantoin over a 5-day course. The main goals were to see if the new drug safely cleared the infection and how the body processed it.
