Gentler test for Women's cancers aims to ease painful screenings
NCT ID NCT04258449
Summary
This study is testing a new medical tool designed to collect cell samples from inside the uterus more comfortably than the current standard brush. The goal is to improve early detection of cancers of the endometrium, fallopian tubes, and ovaries by analyzing DNA from these cells. Researchers will compare the new tool's pain levels and effectiveness to the older method in 40 women who are already scheduled for surgery for suspected or confirmed gynecological cancer.
