Gentler test for Women's cancers aims to reduce pain
NCT ID NCT04258449
Summary
This study is testing a new tool called the DOvEEgene Fleur, designed to collect cell samples from inside the uterus more comfortably than the current method. The goal is to see if this new tool causes less pain for patients while still being effective at collecting cells that can help detect cancers of the endometrium, fallopian tubes, and ovaries very early. Researchers will enroll 40 women who are already scheduled for surgery due to suspected or confirmed gynecological disease.
