New Light-Based score could spot infections in newborns within hours

Summary
This study tests a new tool called the POPScore that uses light and vital signs to predict infection in newborns with breathing problems. The goal is to see if it can detect inflammation early, within the first 6 hours after birth. About 93 newborns will take part in this observational study at a single hospital.
