Race to spot deadly fungus before It's too late
NCT ID NCT05406037
Summary
This study aims to develop a new blood test to diagnose mucormycosis, a dangerous fungal infection that is difficult to detect and has a high death rate. Researchers will test the new method on 100 people, including patients with the infection and similar high-risk patients without it. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors identify the infection much faster, so treatment can start sooner and save lives.
