Summary

This study is testing a new drug called LYFAQUIN (centhaquine citrate) to see if it helps people with life-threatening shock from severe blood or fluid loss. About 400 adult patients will receive the drug along with all standard emergency treatments. Researchers want to know if adding LYFAQUIN is safe and if it improves blood pressure, organ function, and chances of survival.
