Breakthrough drug trial aims to save lives from fatal blood loss

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new drug called LYFAQUIN to standard emergency care helps patients with life-threatening shock from severe blood or fluid loss. About 400 adult patients with very low blood pressure will receive the drug along with usual treatments like IV fluids and blood pressure medications. Researchers will check if LYFAQUIN is safe and if it helps improve blood pressure, organ function, and survival rates.
