Advanced scan trial aims to sharpen detection of Hard-to-Find tumors
NCT ID NCT06240741
Summary
This study tested a new type of PET/CT scan to see if it could better detect neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) compared to standard imaging. It involved 71 people in Japan, including patients with confirmed or suspected NETs and healthy volunteers. The goal was to gather evidence on how accurate this new scan is for diagnosing these often hard-to-find tumors.
