New scan aims to sharpen detection of Hard-to-Find tumors

NCT ID NCT06240741

Summary

This study tested a new type of PET/CT scan to see if it could better detect neuroendocrine tumors compared to standard imaging. It involved 71 people in Japan, including patients with confirmed or suspected tumors and healthy volunteers. The main goal was to see how accurate the new scan was at correctly identifying who had tumors and who did not.
