Summary
This study is testing a new combination treatment for people with rectal cancer that has spread to a few other places in the body. It aims to see if a short course of radiation, followed by chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug, can better control the cancer before surgery. The goal is to shrink tumors, reduce the chance of the cancer coming back, and potentially improve survival.
