New 'Live-Tracking' radiation aims to zap bone cancer pain in one shot
NCT ID NCT06549478
Summary
This study is testing a new, single-dose radiation treatment for people with painful cancer that has spread to their bones. The new method, called biology-guided radiation therapy (BgRT), uses live PET scan signals to target the radiation more precisely to active tumors. Researchers want to see if this one-time treatment is safe and effective at reducing pain and improving quality of life for up to 24 participants.
