Scientists test new blood test against gold standard

NCT ID NCT04822363

Summary

This study tested a new blood test that measures how well platelets work compared to the current standard test. Researchers gave healthy volunteers common blood-thinning medications (aspirin and clopidogrel) and then compared results from both tests. The goal was to see if the new test is as accurate as the established method for measuring platelet function.
