New scan aims to spot deadly pancreatic cancer spread

Summary
This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can better detect when pancreatic cancer has spread to other parts of the body. About 200 adults with confirmed pancreatic cancer will receive the experimental scan. Researchers will compare the new scan's accuracy to current standard methods over a follow-up period of about 3 months.
