New scan aims to sharpen the picture for pancreatic cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can more accurately detect when pancreatic cancer has spread to other parts of the body. It will involve about 200 adults with confirmed pancreatic cancer who are being evaluated for treatment. The goal is to see if this new scan is better than current methods at finding hidden cancer spread, which is critical for choosing the right treatment plan.
