New drug aims to outperform morphine for Post-Surgery pain

Summary
This study is testing an experimental injection called HSK21542 to see if it works better and causes fewer side effects than morphine for pain after hip replacement surgery. It will involve 405 adults who have just had surgery and are in significant pain. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug, standard morphine, or a placebo (inactive substance) to compare the results.
