First-in-Human trial tests supercharged immune cells to fight blood cancer

Summary
This is an early-stage study to test the safety of a new cell therapy for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Researchers are combining specially trained immune cells, called CIML NK cells, with a standard drug (venetoclax) to try to better control the cancer. The study will enroll about 10 participants to find the safest dose and see if the treatment shows early signs of effectiveness.
