Tiny particles supercharge radiation against esophageal cancer
NCT ID NCT04615013
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether adding NBTXR3 nanoparticles to standard radiation and chemotherapy can better control esophageal cancer. The nanoparticles are injected directly into the tumor and are designed to boost the cancer-killing power of radiation. Researchers will enroll 24 patients to find the safest and most effective dose of this experimental combination treatment.
