New scan could tell doctors faster if pancreatic cancer treatment is working

NCT ID NCT06600906

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scan to see if it can predict how well treatment is working for pancreatic cancer. The scan uses an experimental contrast agent to look at how the tumor processes nutrients, which may give doctors an earlier sign of treatment success or failure than standard scans. The study will enroll about 70 adults with advanced pancreatic cancer who are receiving standard treatments.
