Scientists create new tools to fight rare urinary tract cancer
NCT ID NCT04944550
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aimed to create lab models of a rare and aggressive cancer of the upper urinary tract. Researchers took tumor samples from 20 patients and tried to grow them in mice and on chicken egg membranes. The goal was to develop tools to test new treatments for this cancer, which often comes back after standard surgery.
