First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study aims to improve how stem cells are collected from donated umbilical cord blood. Researchers will compare a new, gentler method that uses a special liquid to separate cells without damaging them, versus the traditional spinning method. They will also test if treating the cells with low-dose ozone helps them grow better. The study involves 12 healthy women who donate cord blood after childbirth.
