New hope for Tough-to-Treat skin cancer: trial tests novel drug combo

Summary
This study is testing a new oral drug, LNS8801, to see if it can control advanced melanoma that has stopped responding to standard immunotherapies. About 135 patients will be randomly assigned to receive LNS8801 alone, LNS8801 with another immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab), or a standard treatment chosen by their doctor. The main goal is to see which approach keeps the cancer from growing for the longest time.
