New scan could sharpen picture of liver cancer
NCT ID NCT06999837
Summary
This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can better detect and monitor liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). Researchers will use a special PET/CT scan with a radioactive tracer to take detailed pictures of the cancer in 40 patients. The goal is to see if this scan is more accurate than current methods for finding cancer when it is first diagnosed or when it might have come back after treatment.
