Breakthrough scan could replace painful kidney biopsies

Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET/CT scan to monitor kidney scarring (fibrosis) in people with chronic kidney disease. The goal is to provide a non-invasive way to track disease progression without needing repeated kidney biopsies. Researchers will enroll 150 patients who have recently had a kidney biopsy to see how well the new scan matches the biopsy results.
