Simple map could end painful insulin bumps for diabetics
NCT ID NCT07375875
Summary
This study tested whether a new, detailed map of injection sites could help people with diabetes avoid developing painful, fatty lumps under their skin from repeated insulin shots. Researchers followed 170 adults who self-inject insulin to see if using the map for six months reduced these lumps and helped with blood sugar control. The goal was to find a better way to rotate injection sites and improve daily life for people managing their diabetes.
