Simple map could end painful insulin injection lumps
NCT ID NCT07375875
Summary
This study tested whether a new, detailed map of injection sites helps people with diabetes avoid painful skin lumps caused by insulin. Researchers followed 170 adults who self-inject insulin to see if using the map for six months reduced these lumps and improved blood sugar control. The goal was to find a better way to rotate injection sites and make insulin therapy easier to manage.
