New scan aims to light up hidden cancer cells

Summary

This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can safely and effectively detect small cell lung cancer and similar tumors. Participants receive a special tracer injection and then undergo a PET/CT scan. The main goals are to check the safety of the tracer and see if the scan results match what is found in tumor tissue samples.
