Scientists test groundbreaking HIV vaccines in first human trial

Summary

This is the first human trial testing two new HIV vaccine candidates called DV700P-RNA and DV701B1.1-RNA. The study aims to check if these vaccines are safe and how well they trigger immune responses in healthy adults without HIV. Forty-five volunteers aged 18-55 will participate for about 16 months, receiving injections and having their blood tested regularly.
