New heart valve design aims to outperform current standards
NCT ID NCT07194265
Summary
This study will test a new artificial heart valve called DurAVR against currently available valves for people with severe aortic stenosis. About 1,650 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new valve or an existing one, then followed for up to 10 years. The goal is to see if the new valve is safer and more effective at controlling this serious heart condition.
