Doctors test 'Heart Belt' to fix tricky valve leak without major surgery

NCT ID NCT06479824

Summary

This study is testing a new, less invasive procedure called TRAIPTA for people with a leaky tricuspid heart valve. The procedure involves placing a special loop, like a belt, around the heart through a vein in the leg to help the valve close better and reduce leakage. It is for adults with severe symptoms who are not eligible for standard surgical repair.
