New-Generation stent tested for tough, long heart blockages

Summary
This study is observing how well a new type of drug-coated stent works for people with long blockages in their heart arteries. The stent, called Cre8, is designed without polymer and slowly releases medication. Researchers are following 300 patients with blockages longer than 30mm to check the stent's safety and how well it prevents future heart problems.
