Heart plug trial aims to block deadly strokes

Summary
This is the first human test of a new heart device designed to prevent strokes in people with a common irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation. The device is a small plug placed in a pouch of the heart where dangerous blood clots often form. The study will enroll 10 patients in Hong Kong to check if the new plug is safe and works properly.
