Smart glasses trial aims to halt Kids' worsening eyesight

Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of spectacle lens can safely slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children. Researchers will enroll about 316 adolescents in Guangzhou, China, who will wear either the new D.D.C lenses or regular glasses for a year, then switch. The main goal is to see if these special lenses reduce how quickly their eyesight gets worse over 24 months.
