New High-Tech glasses aim to halt Kids' worsening eyesight
NCT ID NCT07264361
Summary
This study is testing a new type of eyeglass lens designed to slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children and teenagers. Over two years, researchers will compare these special 'D.D.C' lenses to regular glasses in about 316 young participants in China. The goal is to see if the new lens design, which uses a special pattern of tiny lenses, can be more effective at keeping kids' prescriptions from getting worse over time.
