First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests a new drug, vebrekotuzumab, for people with advanced esophageal cancer that stopped responding to initial treatment. The drug is designed to deliver a strong cancer-killing agent directly to tumor cells, potentially slowing or shrinking the cancer. About 104 participants will receive the drug alone or with an immunotherapy, and researchers will measure how many patients see their tumors shrink or stabilize.
