Could a simple ultrasound scan replace surgery for endometriosis diagnosis?
NCT ID NCT05523284
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive ultrasound technique to diagnose the most common form of endometriosis, which is currently very hard to detect without surgery. Researchers will use a special saline-infused ultrasound to look for signs of the disease and analyze fluid for biomarkers. The goal is to develop a faster, less invasive diagnostic tool that could help people get diagnosed and treated sooner.
