Could a simple swab replace invasive tests for uterine cancer?
NCT ID NCT07298707
Summary
This study aims to see if a new molecular test, called CISENDO, can accurately screen for and track endometrial (uterine) cancer using leftover cells from a routine cervical swab. Researchers will compare the test results to the current standard procedure (a hysteroscopy with biopsy) in 3,500 women at medium-to-high risk for this cancer. The goal is to determine if this less invasive test can reliably detect high-risk lesions and monitor changes over time.
