Promising 4-Drug cocktail aims to deeply suppress myeloma before transplant
NCT ID NCT04430894
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests a combination of four drugs (carfilzomib, lenalidomide, dexamethasone, and isatuximab) in 50 adults with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma who are eligible for a stem cell transplant. The goal is to see how many patients achieve a complete response after four treatment cycles. While the treatment aims to control the disease deeply, multiple myeloma typically requires ongoing management, so this is not a cure.
